Job Title: Systems Engineer

Location: Wright Patterson AFB, OH

Clearance: Current/Active TS+

Education: BS from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Business, or related scientific or technical discipline is highly desired but will accept an A.S. Computer Science degree with a minimum of twelve (12) years of computer experience.

Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in the design and development of communications-computer systems applications. Seven (7) years of experience in assessing the design impact of system software and hardware issues.

Certification: Current Security+

CLC: Systems Engineer III

Job Duties:

• Develops and applies organization-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated, shared software and database management systems.
• Develops or makes enhancements to existing systems to improve business methods consistent with organization-wide initiatives. Includes architectural planning, participates in new technology analysis, tradeoff studies, test planning and design analysis.
• Analyzes and develops technical documentation detailing the integration and system performance.
• Proven managerial and supervisory skills.
• Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under general direction.
• Provide desktop support for various classified programs.
• Provide server-level support (FSA) duties for various classified systems.
• Alternate Information Assurance Officer (IAO), working security patching, Classified Message Incidents.
• Provide support for Classified VTC's.

Qualifications:

• Current/Active TS+
• Current Security+
• Ten (10) years of experience in the design and development of communications-computer systems applications. Seven (7) years of experience in assessing the design impact of system software and hardware issues.
