LCAT: Systems Engineer II

Specific Duties: Serve as Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with duties to include:

• Review of audit logs
• Assist security personnel in managing the two-person integrity program for all writable removable media
• Continuous monitoring of systems for compliance
• Write/review all system security plans received from contractor locations
• Responsible for overall execution of the daily security and cyber security activities (audits, scans, etc.)
• Support the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) in preparation for internal and Air Force audits
• Control/coordinate COMSEC equipment
• Ensure compliance with the Joint Special Access Implementation Guide (JSIG), the DoD implementation Guide for the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Interface with government representatives, as necessary
• Participate in cyber security meetings with external customers

Required Skills

• Knowledge of SAP/SCI environments
• Ability to efficiently work alone
• High level of attention to detail
• Experience in SAP or SCI, preferred
• Previous Information Assurance (IA) experience, preferred

Qualifications

• Active current Secret clearance, with investigation date within the last five years
• TS eligible (Individual will be put in for TS immediately upon hire.)
• Current CompTIA Security+ certified
• Self-starter, able to perform duties with minimal close supervision
• Three (3) years of IT experience
