• Ability to estimate task duration and deliver on commitments;
• Ability to develop and communicate designs, strategies, tactics, and schedules.
• Configuration Management Engineer qualifications:
• Excellent problem determination and troubleshooting skills
• Design, develop and modify software systems to meet Government Security Requirements.
• Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong sense of organization and attention to detail
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
• Ability to relate risks and challenges the customer should expect to encounter with the solution with other client efforts or projects
• Ability to understand the customer's business problem, need, or opportunity and to design a virtualized solution that completely and correctly addresses the business problem, need, or opportunity.
• Ability to provide architectural direction for multiple medium to large sized projects concurrently in various stages of their lifecycle or a large project full time.
• Ability to validate/evaluate if an information systems or operational architecture meets business needs
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current active Secret Security Clearance
• DOD 8570 Security+ Certification
• Five (5) or more years of experience in systems planning, operations, architectures and management, network management, application development and monitoring.
• Develops, implements, and executes standard procedures for the administration, backup, disaster recovery, and operation of the EMS tools including operating system security hardening, backup management, capacity planning, change management, version/patch management, and lifecycle upgrade management
• Strong experience in architecture, design and implementation of enterprise, high-volume, secure applications and systems
• Fluent Web Client/Server development experience using VBScript, JavaScript, JSP,  Applets, PERL, CGI, HTML, ASP, ASP.NET, AJAX, XML, WMI
• Development experience utilizing the following platforms: Windows Server Enterprise, Microsoft IIS, Tomcat, JBOSS, MSSQL, Oracle back ends.
• Broad understanding of networking, system management, Linux and Windows operating systems
• Experience with support and administration of environments with high-availability and disaster recovery technologies such as VMware, clustering and replication.
• Solid networking and an understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, SMTP and SNMP.
• Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
• Ability to lead the architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of large enterprise or global solutions that span multiple technologies and disciplines.
• Experience in developing system management tools System Center Operations Manager, Operations Bridge/OMI, SiteScope, Business Service Manager, Business Process Monitor, Operations Analytics, and Business Objects.
• Experience implementing best practices and standards, such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
• Performing systems hardening to DoD Standards
