Overview: S4 Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Content SME with at least 5 years of experience with writing and editing in the Enterprise IT, Cybersecurity, and Information Assurance fields. This candidate will also collaborate with proposal leaders on content delivery throughout the proposal process.

Specific Duties:

The Technical Content SME will write to common IT infrastructure topics such as network engineering, systems administration, cloud, database, storage, and service desk topics as well as hardware (such as routers, and network tools etc.) in support of proposal efforts and required technical documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Familiarity at the highest levels of Cybersecurity and Enterprise IT infrastructures and how they operate
• Experience with cyber security compliance assessments of existing and emerging technologies
• Experience with developing RMF documentations (SSPs, SAR, SAP, POAM, etc.) to support the Assessment & Authorization
• Experience with Microsoft products to write, format, manage and publish high-quality content.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues; high attention to detail; maintain current knowledge in evolving technologies
• Proven and demonstrated experience in creating, editing, and reviewing technical documentation to include color reviews for format, clarity, and overall cohesiveness.
• Ability to translate cybersecurity principles and polices to paper.
• Must be capable of writing to topics such as cybersecurity best practices to include access management, patch management, network segmentation, logging and monitoring, configuration management, malware prevention.
• Experience with industry cybersecurity standards, including but not limited to: NERC CIP, SOX, NIST CSF, etc.
• Familiarity with standard cybersecurity tools/hardware such as firewalls, reverse proxies, SIEM, RSA Multifactor Authentication, Tripwire, and Splunk.
• Analytical skills to help identify security gaps and propose processes to fill those gaps
• Possesses knowledge of security policies and general vulnerabilities management
• Experience working on DoD and Federal contracts/proposals.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with subject matter experts and managers of all levels
• Proven experience using and following a style guide
• Excellent project, technical, interpersonal, presentation and problem management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and possess self- initiative to find answers when needed
