LCAT:

Overview: Provide services to develop and conduct vulnerability assessments in accordance with OSD, Joint Staff, USSTRATCOM direction and guidance, Service, and Combatant Command direction and guidance and the JEPAC mission, as well as develop, document and continuously improve the JEPAC vulnerability assessment process model. You will research and understand emerging, relevant EW/EMS technology at multiple classification levels and strive to incorporate appropriate systems into JEPAC assessments.

Specific Duties:

  • Develop and manage processes to produce staff documents, staff packages, correspondence, and reports internally and to higher headquarters
  • Assist in the development and submission of formal classified mission reports
  • Assist in preparing resource requests for the Operations Division
  • Maintain control and dispose of government-owned equipment
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a shared drive file structure plan for multiple classification levels
  • Assist in the standardization of unit products, intranet website content, maintenance, operations, assessment data standards, assessment data collection
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a process for unit record keeping, unclassified and classified document management, storage, and disposition

Qualifications:

  • The Technical Editor/Knowledge Manager must possess over 5 years of demonstrated relevant experience in the following:
  • Preforming technical writing for organizations conducting developmental or operational assessment and evaluation
  • Reviewing, proofreading, and editing documentation to be transmitted to external agencies for basic writing principles such as grammar, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and accepted English usage.
  • Reviewing documentation for proper security markings in accordance with applicable Security Classification Guides
  • Supporting data collections during assessment planning, execution, and analysis
  • Assisting in data reduction transcription
  • Managing the document preparation, coordination, and archival process to include writing, editing, proofing, assuring policy compliance regarding format, coordination, and tracking status
  • Developing and managing processes to produce staff documents, staff packages, correspondence, and reports
  • Developing standardization recommendations and produces documentation for web developers, information providers, and knowledge facilitators
  • Coordinating with web developers to ensure web application is developed, documented, and current regarding application and content
  • Assisting JEPAC leadership in identifying areas of opportunity to improve knowledge flow and storage
  • Developing briefings, talking papers, scripts and other communication to ensure JEPAC is aware and adhering to content and standardized business processes
  • Developing and maintaining processes to standardize JEPAC file naming conventions, templates, and data with appropriate writing instructions, guides, and templates for various document types
  • Developing writing and editing policies, guidelines, and templates for JEPAC
