Technical Recruiter

Job Title: Technical Recruiter

Education: BS and 4+ years of hands on job related experience; or HS Diploma/GED and hands on experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Location: DC Metro Area

Employment Status: Full-time

Travel:  10%

Overview: We are seeking a full-time technical recruiter to support all S4 contracts and proposals as needed.

 

Job Duties:

  • Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media, references, etc.
  • Prepare qualification summaries
  • Screen candidates' resumes and job applications to assess their relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and abilities
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process to develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Promote company's reputation as a great place to work online and offline through such means as social media and networking events
  • Maintain candidate databases to ensure proper communication with management, assessment of candidates and accountability
  • Cold calling passive candidates regarding new employment and networking opportunities
  • Maintain metrics and measure conversion rates to include number of passive candidates who turn into applicants, candidates interviewed, candidates offered employment and final acceptance

 

Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience as a recruiter (minimum 5 years of work experience as a recruiter in government contracting and sourcing/attracting cleared candidates) required
  • Ability to write qualifications' summaries
  • Prior experience sourcing candidates through databases, social media, etc.
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (reviewing employment applications, resumes, sourcing candidates, conducting pre-screen interviews)
  • Familiarity with HR databases and applicant tracking systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision making skills
