Education:  Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred

Experience:  8 to 12 years

Certification: Current Security+ required, VMWare Certified Associate (VCA) a plus.

Schedule: Monday Friday day shift

Travel: Occasional

LCAT: System Engineer

Specific Duties:

• Design and manage the virtual (cloud) training and exercise environment and training and exercise solutions that meet the appropriate levels of computing and performance standards supporting USSTRATCOM's Unified Command Plan (UCP) missions
• Support requirements for All Things Missile (ATM) and the Integrated Air and Missile Defense training capability supporting USSTRATCOM and components
• Design and manage the virtual environment based on user requirements
• Design and oversee multiple virtualization solutions using products across vendors such as VMWare, Microsoft, Oracle, and other software/operating systems based on user requirements and hosting capabilities for the STEN

Skills:  Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, review complex directives and guidance and provide recommendations on system compliance with directives. Must be capable of using Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) and Custom Application Software (CAS) such as ISPAN and C2 products in support of new and ongoing tasks

Qualifications:

• Current Security+ certification (or higher)
• Experience with virtualization hypervisors such as VMWare and Microsoft
• SQL and Oracle database expertise
