Work Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Clearance: Active Current Secret/TS eligible

Education: BS/BA + 3 years; or HS Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience in lieu of degree

Certification: Current Security+ CE and current Polycom CVE Certification

Schedule: Monday Friday day shift, other hours as required

Travel: Occasional

Contract Labor Category: VTC Hub

Specific Duties:

• Monitors and responds to complex technical problems utilizing a variety of VTC, to include Polycom, Collaboration hardware and software testing tools and techniques
• Provides primary interface with contractor support service groups or provides internal analysis and support to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance
• May provide network server support
• Requires extensive knowledge of PC/network communications hardware/software in a multi-protocol environment, and network management software
• Work with Vendors to evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the VTC infrastructure and Conference rooms as required
• Assist with on call duty phone to ensure Rich Media service coverage as required by contract
• Assist with ticket system queue to ensure all open requests are being completed according to contract requirements

Skills:  

• Commitment to maintaining the highest standard of customer service with outstanding written and oral communication
• Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer

Qualifications:

• Active Current Secret, TS Preferred
• Current Security+ CE certification and current Polycom CVE certification
• Current Network Certification (Desired)
• BS/BA + 3 years; or HS Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience in lieu of degree
