Position Description/Summary:  

• Monitors and responds to complex technical problems utilizing a variety of VTC, to include Polycom; Collaboration hardware and software testing tools and techniques;
• Provides primary interface with contractor support service groups or provides internal analysis and support to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance;
• Requires extensive knowledge of PC/network communications hardware/software in a multi-protocol environment, and network management software;
• Manage team of tier 1 & tier 2 VTC technicians including personnel evaluations, timecard tracking, and tasking of day-to-day duties and provide guidance and training;
• Work with Vendors to evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the VTC infrastructure and Conference rooms;
• Maintain on call duty phone to ensure Rich Media service coverage as required by contract;
• Manage ticket system queue to ensure all open requests are being completed according to contract requirements;
• Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current active Top Secret+ DoD security clearance
• BS/BA and 4 years of experience, or 5 - 7 years of relevant professional experience (or combination of education, training, and experience)
• Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standard of customer service with outstanding written and oral communication
• Polycom CVE or equivalent and ITIL v3 Foundations desirable, but not mandatory
