We are looking for an individual who has the ability to review and analyze factors and work to resolve problems impacting the planning, design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the Air Mobility Command's infrastructure. The candidate must have the ability to evaluate, integrate and implement systems and network components based on user's requirements.  Must have experience working with Performance Work Statements and Statements of Work and exposure to Request for Information (sources sought).

Specific Duties:

• Evaluate new/emerging technology;
• Evaluate possible architectural changes that meet all requirements (Unified Communications, IP Radio Systems, New Voice recording equipment, and conference systems). These factors include the ability to evaluate, integrate and implement systems and network components based on user's Communications System Requirement Documents (CSRDs) compliant with DoD's regulations and guidance that are consistent with emerging technology and industry practice, including requirements pursuant to DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program; 
• Analyze complex IP Multicast video, Giant Voice and ADHOC technical solutions, optimizing services including ADHOC capability in cooperation with other network engineers of other networks.

Required Skills:

• System Administration Experience (FSA Level 2) desired;
• Seeking individual with some of the desired skills below, all are not mandatory;
• IP to include VoIP, EoIP and IPv6;
• AF Command and Control Systems;
• AF Radio systems and integration with/migration to IP based networks;
• Voice Recording equipment;
• System management to include administration of networked systems;
• Voice to include Secure and Non-Secure;
• VTC to include (Secure and Non-Secure);
• Technology replacement (end of lifecycle or end of warranty);
• Network Multicast Systems;
• Air Force Standards;
• DoD Unified Communications Technology;
• Storage Technologies;
• DOD C2 Equipment Standards;
• IP Multicast NetFlow;
• Multicast Managing

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree and at least 3 years of experience;
• Active Secret clearance
• Command Post experience helpful
• Air Force and DoD experience is desired
• High attention to detail
• Experience with USAF staffing packages desired
