Overview: USSTRATCOM/J62 requires modern collaboration and business intelligence tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, MS365, and PowerBI. In this position you will be responsible for assisting the J622 Web Development team with planning, designing, developing, and implementing IT tools or applications on unclassified and classified networks to meet business requirements of customer organizations and to provide web application development for the USSTRATCOM Enterprise Web and Knowledge Management Branch.

Specific Duties:

• Provide website creation, custom application development, troubleshooting, and website provisioning
• Build web services using a variety of web languages and database query techniques
• Plan, coordinate, implement, and orchestrate maintenance and troubleshooting for custom-developed and/or configured web applications
• Develop custom code and script to display or consume internal and external data
• Build innovative dynamic visualization and metric displays of complex data sources
• Provide business intelligence self-analytics support to customers by demonstrating the steps and procedures for ingesting their data into and manipulating their data within business intelligence capabilities including PowerBI
• Research, interpret, analyze, and evaluate code, application development practices, and applications to leverage capabilities with potential for efficiencies
• Document/comment settings, permissions, code, and script to aid future maintenance and troubleshooting
• Assist in managing, maintaining, and administering USSTRATCOM unclassified and classified networks web portals
• Provide support for: (a) Assist USSTRATCOM/J62 with implementation of DoD365, use of PowerBI, Power Automate, and other visualization or automation tools for USSTRATCOM on unclassified and classified networks (b) Assist with maintenance of web sites and pages on-premises, in DoD 365, and other local and cloud locations
• Support the development, coordination, and implementation of web sites, pages, and applications following Microsoft best practices, DoD 365 Governance, and SI 901-6
• Support analyses and other performance-related studies for currently deployed and future web and data visualization requirements
• Assist with identifying optimal web site/page/application options for users, building those solutions, as well as building solutions to visualize data from a variety of sources, such as SharePoint lists and Remedy
• Assist with preparing technical requirements documents, specifications, design reviews, and provide independent analyses to assess customer requirements satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Active current TS+ clearance
• At least three years of demonstrated relevant experience with SharePoint development (on premise or DoD365/Microsoft 365 cloud)
• Demonstrated ability to work with complex data sources (Remedy, Oracle, SQL), business intelligence tools (PowerBI), and automation tools (Power Automate)
