Schedule:  Primarily Monday Friday day shift. May be required to perform 24/7 shift work and on-call support as requested by the government during exercises and contingencies.

LCAT: Web Developer

Overview: In this position you will be required to maintain current capabilities and develop new capabilities for Strategic Mission Assurance Data System (SMADS) ensuring capabilities are accessible to the user through the SMADS web application.

Specific Duties:

• You will develop web applications according to approved requirements documents.
• Document all product designs, to include all graphical user interface designs, design choices with respect to calculations or mathematical models and design choices regarding whether system workloads will be conducted by the frontend or backend.
• Implement all web applications in accordance with all information assurance regulations as provided by the government.
• Ensure that any changes to the SMADS user interface do not cause loss of current/previous capabilities.

• Possess the knowledge and experience to perform the duties listed above.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, review complex directives and guidance and provide recommendations on system compliance with directives.
• Strong written and verbal skills.

Qualifications:

• Active/current Top Secret+.
• 12+ years of experience in a software application programing environment
• Demonstrated relevant experience with, or formal education/training in Web Services Description Language (WSDL) development using .net, XML, Java, or similar language.
• Experience with modern, object-oriented programming languages C++, Java, Python, Smalltalk, Perl, Ruby, PHP, or the .Net managed languages C# and VB.
• Knowledge of object-oriented methodology with the ability to create objects and instances of objects, how to create subclasses of objects, and familiarity with the concepts of encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism.
• Understanding of Model Viewer Controller (MVC) framework and how to implement each part in order to properly crate a website.
• Experience with HTML and current best practices for creating clean, organized, HTML using unobtrusive scripting.
• A working knowledge of JQuery, how to use JQuery widget factory, and familiarity with the JQuery-UI library.
• Understanding of style sheets and how to properly use them.
• Understanding of PL/SQL Developer and how to analyze table structures and create queries
• Familiarity with the NHibernate framework.
