Education: BS/BA/MS/MA/PhD; or HS Diploma or equivalent

Experience: 10 years of professional experience in lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience with multi-location, shared resources and complex Project Management.

Certification: PMI PMP, MCSA or MCSE, Security+ce

Schedule: Monday Friday, some weekend possible

Travel: Occasional

Specific Duties:

• Create Project Management weekly status reports, create balanced scorecard, coordinate and plan meetings, including documenting meeting discussions and action items
• Provide a Concept of Operations which includes a roles and responsibility matrix and processes and management controls
• Track and manage overall project status so that project milestones are met and that change activity is properly documented
• Manage projects to include allocation of resources, budget tracking and status reports
• Provide Program Monthly Status Reports to internal business leaders as well as external stakeholders
• Provide separate weekly Technical Status Meetings (TSMs) with the COR, Technical Government Managers and other key Government personnel
• Provide a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for all assigned technical activities (including documentation development)
• Develop and maintain a Risk Management Plan, develop and maintain a Risk Register, provide and maintain Action Items organized in a formal Tracking System identifying various, specific requirements.
• Develop and maintain an integrated Project Schedule that includes tasks, dependencies, resources and interrelationships
• Develop, maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all major functional areas in the task order or as required by the Government
• Develop and maintain a Communication Plan that identifies all stakeholders (Government, contractors and others), communication methods and frequency;
• Develop and maintain a Quality Assurance Plan that describes the principles, processes and procedures for ensuring all delivered products and services satisfy contractual agreements, meet or exceed quality standards, and comply with approved SDLC processes;

Skills:  

• Commitment to maintaining the highest standard of customer service with outstanding written and oral communication
• Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer.

• Experience with USAF/DoD systems a plus
• Strong investigative drive and listening skills, self-motivated individuals
• The ability to work under pressure, stress, and be flexible with their time
• Ability to work autonomously, self-starter
• Able to think outside the box and make decisions quickly
• Ability to prioritize and document tasks is a plus

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related degree
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• ITILv3 Foundations Level Certification.
• Current Security+ ce
• 5+ years of information technology experience
• Experienced in successfully managing projects requiring strong collaboration between IT and business stakeholders to ensure business receives the value that it needs
• Knowledgeable of how to utilize technical expertise to successfully perform quality control on deliverables and services produced by the team that they manage
• In addition to managing the project, it is expected that this individual will actively contribute to operational activities.
